The Mountains to Sound Greenway embodies one of the most successful land conservation programs in the United States, with:
  • 750,000 acres of public land
  • 1,600 miles of trails
  • 100 miles of scenic views from I-90
  • Hundreds of lakes, waterways and wetlands
  • Dozens of campgrounds, museums and farms
  • Over 650,000 new trees planted since 1995
  • More than 4,000 volunteer in 2007
  • Hundreds of corporate and individual financial supporters and donors
